the experience behind the work

We invest in the complete experience.

From the atmosphere and environment to the smallest considered detail, every element has a purpose. We create bespoke experiences that are personal, polished and, above all, exceptionally well executed.

Our approach is rooted in the five senses, thoughtful production and an instinct for what makes an experience feel effortless. We anticipate, refine and solve, often before a requirement has been voiced.

Working across private projects and brand experiences, we bring the same level of discretion, precision and care to every brief.

Etiquette is our approach.

Confidentiality is our standard.

This is Etiquette Confidential.

Etiquette Confidential Chiara Pedersen Founder

Born and raised by the beach in Takapuna, New Zealand, I am now based in Auckland, working across private projects and brand experiences, both locally and internationally.

My career has always centred around creating experiences and making things happen.

I was introduced to production at a young age, assisting with infomercials and later coordinating photoshoots, before moving into hospitality and studying a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management at the University of Auckland.

Hospitality became a significant part of my foundation. Working across some of Auckland’s leading restaurants, private functions and food, music and art projects taught me the importance of atmosphere, service and the small details that make people feel genuinely considered.

In 2019, I moved into the world of superyachts, beginning as a Stewardess aboard 80m MY Talitha before progressing to 85m MY Solandge, 101m MY I Dynasty and, most recently, 95m MY Madsummer as Chief Stewardess.

Working closely with UHNW clients across some of the world's most exceptional private environments gave me an entirely different understanding of experience.

Everything mattered.

Anticipating requirements, understanding individual preferences, managing complex logistics and remaining calm under pressure became second nature.

It is this understanding that now informs my work on land.

Since establishing Etiquette Confidential, I have continued to work across private projects while expanding further into experiential production and brand activations.

I also launched my own brand, Indoor Padel, in Auckland.

Building something of my own from the ground up has brought an entirely different perspective to the work. There is a particular kind of hustle that comes with being responsible for every detail of your own project, from the first idea through to the physical environment, brand, partnerships, operations and launch.

It has sharpened my understanding of what it takes to turn an idea into something tangible, commercially viable and genuinely experienced by people.

There is no hiding behind a production team when it is your own.

You solve it. You make it happen. You keep moving.

That experience has only strengthened the way I approach projects for others, bringing both the polished eye of luxury hospitality and the practical instinct of someone who has built and delivered something of her own.

Today, I work selectively across private projects, brand activations and experiential production, based in Auckland and available for projects across New Zealand and internationally.

I am drawn to work that has ambition behind it. Projects with personality, where the details matter and the final experience should feel effortless.

The work behind it may be anything but.

etiquette

For me, Etiquette has never simply been about rules or formalities.

It is an understanding of people.

Working alongside some of the world’s wealthiest individuals, from different cultures, backgrounds and environments, taught me that the finest experiences are rarely about what is obvious. They are about knowing when to step forward, when to step back, what has not yet been asked for and what should simply happen without being noticed.

Nonchalant. Calm. Composed. Collected.

These qualities have stayed with me throughout my career and continue to shape the way I work.

Whether I am producing a private experience or bringing a brand activation to life, I believe the best work feels considered rather than contrived.

Nothing unnecessary. Nothing overlooked.

CONFIDENTIAL

Some of the projects I have worked on have never existed in the public eye.

They were private by nature, and they remain that way.

Confidentiality is therefore not an add-on to the work. It is part of the way I operate.

Every project is approached with discretion, trust and respect for the people, brands and environments involved.

Etiquette Confidential.
